Emergent Behavior of Cellular Automata

This work deals with the simulation of an emergent behavior in cellular automata. In particular, density task, synchronization task and chessboard generation problem are investigated. It uses evolutionary algorithm to solve this problem.

This thesis deals with the topic of Romani youth in the hip-hop subculture, inspired by black rappers, a subculture which infiltrates the Czech Romani community especially through social networks and virtual space in general. It brings different views on the current Romani rap scene and it's possible connection with the social exclusion of the Romani community. The target group is Romani youth aged 13 to 26, who frequent Archa low treshold facility for children and youth located in Kutná Hora and Sázava. The aim of this thesis is to map out and describe the blooming subculture of Romani rappers and to seek out the answer to the question, whether Romani rappers acting as role models for Romani youth and their work spreading through social networking sites could have an impact on the social exclusion of Romani people. The research was carried out using qualitative methodology, the key data collection tool used being semi-structured interview.
Influence on the tradicional modes of behavior of Romani youth on the integration into majority society

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of the integration of Romani youth into the majority society. Romani youth between 13 and 26 years of age who attend low-threshold treatment programs in Kutná Hora were the target group of the research. The thesis aims to chart certain customs and traditions of Romani families and to find out, whether the traditional cultural framework may influence the process of integration of Romani youth into the majority society or to what extend does the cultural framework influence their stand on the majority. The thesis is based on qualitative research, semi-standardized interview being the key method of data gathering.
Aspects of everyday life in the Roma settlement

The aim of this work is to describe life in a Roma settlement on the basis of literature and then to capture it directly in reality and to compare these two views. In the introduction, I also deal with the general characteristics of the Roma when I turn to the specifics of the Roma settlement. In the practical part I used qualitative research methods with observation technique and verifying the information from the theoretical part directly in practice. Development of the roma population,focusing on teenagers

The aim of this thesis is to illustrate the developmental changes of Gypsy teenagers. It describes the influences caused by the majority society and typical traits of Gypsies. The first part targets the origin of Gypsies. The historical background affecting the social status of Gypsies is defined as well as the attitudes of the majority society to the Gypsy community. In both theoretical and practical terms, the paper targets the interaction of the majority society and the Gypsy minority considering their sociocultural differences. Based on the qualitative research the thesis introduces the objective outcomes reflecting the coexistence of Gypsies and the majority society.

3 Abstract and key words Abstract This thesis deals with current problems of multicultural aspects in the work of Slovak and Czech teachers, which are interfering with education with growing influence. I would like to define the main concept and conditions that lead to its creation. It will be followed by a description of the particular problems and biggest influences connected with multiculture and culture in general. After the theoretical part I would like to analyze historical events, which created biggest multicultural influences in former Czechoslovakia and in the modern independent republics. After dealing with historical facts, I will attempt to assess the present state and describe the most influencing minorities. I will look into legislative base and general government plans for education. In the end I would like to introduce some institutions dealing with these issues and describe abilities a teacher needs to possess to be able to lead multicultural groups and groups which are affected by aspects of other cultures every day. Demartini A. - The muslim minority in Brno: majority relationships with minority. Ba-chelor thesis. Brno: Mendel university in Brno. Faculty of regional development and international studies, 2014. Thesis supervisor Ing. Mgr. Jiří Čeněk. The thesis analyses the relationship of Brno citizens with the muslim community in Brno. The theoretical part explains the basic terms, briefly describes islam and brings the view of islam in the Czech Republic. The practical part is based on a quantitative research with use of an electronic questionnaire to determine attitudes, prejudices and knowledge of Brno citizens about muslim minority.
View of the Vietnamese pupils from the perspective of teachers and classmates (with a view of the age of pupils and location of school)

The goal of my diploma thesis is to find out, what kind of relations exists between minority and majority at Czech primary schools. Vietnamese minority was chosen for this thesis. We research differences in perception between girls and boys and between older and younger pupils. We also research differences between formal and informal situations. Another goal is to find out if pupils have some basic knowledge about native land of this minority. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part includes the explanation of basic terms about minorities at all, historical and cultural information about Vietnam, information about life and distribution of Vietnamese in the Czech Republic and also information about Vietnamese pupils in Czech schools. In the practical part the questionnaire method is used for pupils and the interview is used for teachers. Results of these research studies are processed into graphs and tables, which are supplemented by relevant comments.
